Hello and Welcome! Velocipede is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which provides access to hands-on education, a community workspace, and secondhand bicycles.

This is your chance to work on your own bike. Velocipede provides the tools and assistance from our volunteer mechanics. We work with all skill levels, so please join us! Space is limited. See Programming for more details.

We have a variety of bikes for sale. Most have been fully overhauled and safety checked. Photo ID required for test ride.

Pre-enrollment is required. When the next enrollment is announced, you can enroll in-person anytime we’re open: Sundays 1-4pm, Tuesdays/Wednesdays 5-9pm.
6 Session Class is $75. Optional bike package (bike and $20 of consumable parts) is an additional $70.

If you have more than 4 bikes to donate, please get in touch with us before making an appointment. We are not currently accepting childrens’ bicycles. (Please consider donating unneeded childrens’ bicycles to our friends at BYKE.)
