Workshops and clinics will deal with a variety of topics ranging from basic mechanics skills to advanced technical maintenance.  Other topics will include safe urban riding and preventing theft.  Velocipede will also offer events promoting bicycle culture such as films, gatherings and informational sessions for advocacy.

Velocipede will offer a comprehensive course in basic bicycle maintenance for adults and children.  Participants will learn how bicycles work and how to use key bicycle tools to fix common, day-to-day repair issues.  Children working through the program will complete the assembly of a bicycle they can take with them at the end of the course.

Velocipede will offer a traveling bicycle clinic that can visit schools, recreation centers and neighborhood festivals to provide repairs, encourage bicycling and educate people about bicycle safety and maintenance.
